Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
Prepare detailed MEP drawings using computeraided design (CAD) software.
Ensure that all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Create 2D and 3D models of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Assist in the preparation of material takeoffs and cost estimates for MEP components.
Review architectural plans to identify potential clashes or conflicts with MEP systems.
Coordinate with other trades (e.g., structural, civil) to ensure proper integration of MEP systems.
Revise drawings based on feedback from project managers or clients.
Maintain accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in MEP drafting.

Requirements:

More than 6 years of experience working as a Draftsman MEP.
Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, CWCAD, or Revit for creating technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, fire fighting, and air conditioning in building construction projects.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate drawings within tight deadlines.
Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
Willing to take trade test assessment
