    Job Summary: The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in identifying and securing business opportunities within the civil infrastructure sector particularly in road services and power distribution projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective business strategies cultivating relationships with key stakeholders and driving revenue growth.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Market Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients competitors and market trends.
    • Analyze industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact civil infrastructure projects.
  • Business Strategy:
    • Develop and implement strategic business plans to expand the companys presence in road construction and power distribution projects.
    • Identify and prioritize target clients and projects to achieve business objectives.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
    • Actively seek new clients through networking cold calling and other business development strategies.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Collaborate with the technical and project management teams to create compelling and competitive project proposals.
    • Ensure that proposals align with client needs and industry standards.
  • Contract Negotiation:
    • Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable contract terms and conditions.
    • Work closely with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts.
  • Project Coordination:
    • Liaise between clients and internal project teams to ensure smooth project initiation and execution.
    • Monitor project progress and address any client concerns.
  • Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets for business development activities.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators related to business development.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Business Civil Engineering or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
    • Proven experience in business development within the civil infrastructure sector with a focus on road construction and power distribution.
    • Strong understanding of the civil engineering and construction industry.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and internal teams.
    • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding business development targets.
    • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in the civil infrastructure sector.
