    Job Purpose: About therole:

    The Social Media Specialist isresponsible for developing and executing the social media strategyfor Emirates Flight Catering and delivering on key businessobjectives as it relates to the Groups social media presence. Withsocial media forming a critical component of the integratedmarketing mix the Social Media Specialist will play a key role intelling the story of all Emirates Flight Caterings brands toconsumers partners and other stakeholders on social media expandingglobal visibility building brand advocacy amongst new audiences andcreating loyal customers. The Social Media Specialist willcollaborate across departments to support and protect our brandensuring consistent messaging is maintained. The Social MediaSpecialist will develop and maintain sound relationships with allstakeholders in the Corporate Communications Marketing and Branddepartment the wider Emirates Group agencies and suppliers. Theywill proactively manage business critical issues as they arise incollaboration with their Manager and relevant parties.

    What you will do:

    • Plan and execute the Emirates Flight Catering socialmedia strategy in conjunction and close collaboration with the LineManager as well as specialist teams within the CorporateCommunications Marketing and Brand department.
    • Work alongside external agencies and vendors to ensurethe Emirates Flight Catering social media strategy is beingexecuted and agreed initiatives are implemented appropriately.
    • Manage the daytoday social media operationsand activities in support of Emirates Flight Catering brands andagreed business objectives.
    • Drive visibilityand advocacy for the companys major business initiatives andproducts.
    • Develop creative engaging socialmedia content that communicates key business messages andobjectives to relevant audiences.
    • Maintainrelevance differentiation and sustainability of Emirates FlightCaterings social media presence through content community andchannel management as a part of the overall integratedcommunications mix.
    • Maintain and continue toevolve Emirates Flight Caterings presence on all social mediaplatforms well as popular industry relevant sites intended tomanage advocacy increase brand awareness and drive traffic to theGroup websites.
    • Identify and proactivelypresent social media opportunities as they arise.
    • Create materials in support of the social media strategywhich improves brand advocacy enhances our reputation and buildsstrong relationships through everyday interactions andconversations.
    • Identify and buildrelationships with prominent personalities influencers and industryprofessionals in an effort to develop them as brand advocates.
    • Track and share realtime trends and emergingthemes across social media and the wider digital landscape withLine Manager and the broader Public Relations and Social Mediateam.
    • Monitor measure and analyse theeffectiveness of social media content and initiatives. Generateclear accurate and concise performance reports for variousstakeholders as required.
    • Capture customerand target audience sentiment attitude and opinions across socialmedia and report on these to drive business insights. This includescompetitor research and industry benchmarking.
    • Establish and maintain positive relationships with keyinfluencers and/or identify Group team members and/or PRmanagers/PR agencies that could monitor and influence theserelationships.
    • Be an advocate for socialmedia within the broader Emirates Group. Inform and educate keypartners and stakeholders on new developments within the socialmedia and digital landscape and proactively develop proposals onhow these can be integrated into the broader social media strategyto achieve business objectives.

    Qualifications &Experience: The job might be for you if you have:

    • Degree or Honours (123 orequivalent)
    • 5 Years in social media publicrelations corporate communications or marketing with additionalexperience in content creation copywriting and storytelling.Experience in online community management is desirable.

    Youll have an edge if you have:

    • Excellent storytellingskills and an understanding of how that applies to social media toensure that formats tone and style is appropriate for differentplatforms.
    • A keen eye for visuals andaesthetics to ensure quality and consistency across all types ofdigital content.
    • Strong knowledge of theonline landscape and digital technology including social mediaplatforms and digital marketing toolsets.
    • Excellent understanding of how social media fits intodigital marketing advertising public relations and crisiscommunications strategies.
    • Excellentrelationship building and communication skills.
    • Skills in Adobe Photoshop Premiere Pro After Effects orsimilar content creation tools is desirable.
