The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our clients, an established developer specializing in high-luxury projects globally who at present due to the high volume of work are in need of an experienced individual to join their team as a Vice President of Finance within their Dubai office.

Ideally, the successful individual will have experience working for a developer or construction company.

Dubai experience isn't required for this position The Vice President of Finance will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including budgeting, financial planning, analysis and reporting.

They will work closely with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate and timely financial information to support decisionmaking
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Manage cash flow, working capital and investment activities to optimize the company's financial position
  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and projects
  • Develop and maintain relationships with banks, investors and other financial institutions
  • Lead the negotiation and management of financing agreements and contracts
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, managing tax planning and reporting activities
  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy and integrity
  • Hire, train and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support for their development and success

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance
  • Must be a Chartered Accountant
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior finance role
  • Experience working for a Developer or Construction Company
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis
  • Experience in managing financial operations for a large organization
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies to support business growth and profitability
  • UAE experience isn't required but would be advantageous
