- Cost management (supplies, pharmaceuticals, lab utilization, labor, length of stay)
- Revenue optimization (pricing, contracting, realization, growth)
- Domestic and International patient growth
- Referral network development
- Development of administrator financial acumen
- Identifies organization and division level metrics and targets (OKRs) to improve financial performance
- Works with Decision Support and Business Intelligence team to develop tools and dashboards for planning, monitoring, and predicting service line financial performance
- Provides regular updates to leadership through the Operations Council
- Serves as a bridge between Finance and Clinical Operations
- Leads or co-leads CCAD taskforces created to improve financial performance (Care Sustainability, Length of Stay, Lab Utilization, etc)
- Allocated Supporting Resources: Medical Director (partial allocation), Analysts (2-3)
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in a healthcare finance setting is required
- Minimum of 5 years previous supervisory experience in a highly matrixed organization is required
- Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis, budgeting and cost accounting techniques and principles as they relate to healthcare
- Experience with healthcare reimbursement processes required; experience with healthcare reimbursement in the UAE/Abu Dhabi preferred
- Experience educating and influencing clinical leadership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint and MSSQL
- Proficiency in relevant planning and visualization tools such as EPSi, Tableau, and PowerBI preferred
- Strong analytical skills and business judgment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to speak and write in English is required; Ability to speak and write in both English and Arabic is preferred
