Chief Legal Officer

Polymath Ventures , the investment arm of Polymath Holdings, is looking for a Chief Legal Officer ( CLO ) to be based in Dubai.

As CLO, you will be responsible for balancing the legal affairs of the organization, including its portfolio companies ekar and GluCare , within a commercial framework.

The ideal candidate will manage legal and business strategies, suggest appropriate solutions, mitigate risk, and ensure legal efficiency.

Key responsibilities:
Develop and lead legal strategy to promote and protect the organization s matters.
Convey and implement legal advice to executives.
Communicate and oversee compliance regulations with agencies.
Develop and lead internal audit and compliance programs.
Oversee the delivery of legal services and resources to accomplish the organization s goals.
Represent the organization in court.
While you will be based in Dubai, traveling to the ekar office in KSA is likely.

Basic qualifications:
Law degree and license to practice law in UAE with preference for prior experience in KSA.

Minimum of 5 years of legal experience with preference for prior in-house experience particularly with an investment firm or startup company.

Demonstrated ability to independently manage a diverse and complex workload while maintaining priorities and anticipating issues.
Flexibility and ability to constructively manage change.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
