Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Lead and inspire a team of bioinformatic engineers, data scientists, molecular biologists, genome sequencing engineers, and DNA analysis experts towards the successful execution of precision medicine projects.
Project Management:
Develop and implement project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines. Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any challenges that may arise.
Collaboration:
Foster collaboration between team members and cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of bioinformatics models, CRISPR gene editing, genome sequencing, DNA analysis, and direct-to-consumer genetic testing into our platform.
Strategic Planning:
Work closely with senior management to contribute to the strategic planning of precision medicine initiatives, aligning projects with the company's vision and objectives.
Quality Assurance:
Implement and enforce quality assurance processes to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of genetic data and insights generated by the team, with a specific focus on DNA analysis.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in project management, specifically within the field of precision medicine or related areas.
- Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in bioinformatics models, CRISPR gene editing, genome sequencing, DNA analysis, and directtoconsumer genetic testing.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of professionals.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving: Adept at identifying and addressing challenges, with a proactive and solutionoriented approach.
- Education: Advanced degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline.
