Description

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be involve in the delivery and/or coordination of technically complex process engineering design within proposals, studies, projects execution & operations, as part of a study and/or project team or upon request within a specialized process discipline and/or field of activities, in accordance with design & engineering standards & procedures, schedules and budget, with a continuous concern for quality standards, targets and customer satisfaction.

• Analyzes project specifications, tender and proposals requirements.
• Contributes to the development of design parameters and methodologies.
• Prepares technically correct, safe, environmentally friendly, cost & time effective discipline engineering analysis and solutions for approval.
• Provides support to all project activities, from engineering to start-up, as required.
• May participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up.
• Coordinates process activities on tenders and project execution.
• Reviewing, approving and processing all ELV, LV and IT technical submittals.
• Prepare preliminary answers RFI's related to ELV, LV and IT works.
• Reviewing contractor's ELV, LV and IT change order proposals and preparing recommendations to the Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Liaison with the necessary sub consultants.
• Assist with the review off contractor's claims related to ELV, LV and IT works and preparing recommendations for claims.
• Assist with the review off contractor's project record documents relevant to their discipline.
• Assist with the inspection of completed works and monitoring the start-up, testing, commissioning and handover of the ELV, LV and IT works.
• Prepare "sign-off" package for completed Electrical works with completed documentation for sign-off by Senior Electrical Engineer. Perform all other duties given by PM.
  
  

Requirements

Minimum Seven (7) years' total experience as ELV, LV & IT Engineer in the Middle East

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or ELV/LV/IT
• Strong technical background on ELV, LV and IT systems.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good knowledge of ELV, LV and IT systems, products and materials.
• Knowledge/experience in AUTO CAD.
• Good command of Microsoft Office business solution (Excel, Word).
• Ability to review and comment properly on necessary documentation.
• Excellent understanding of specifications
• Has worked on a range of studies across different markets and understands the tools used and levels of detail required
• Has relevant experience in Feasibility / Conceptual Study, FEED, EPC
• Fluency in professional English
• Good understanding of Authority requirements
• Complete project understanding in given discipline, from start to hand-over.
