Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible and accountable for the marine operations of all our regional vessels. Acts as the Company representative towards our customers and will be the focal point for Masters' onboard the vessels.

Responsibilities:

Develop and lead Project Plans.
Responsible for annual vessel operating budget and forecast.
Implementation of the HSQE system with HSQE department
Responsible for Monitoring fleet flag and class certificates.
Responsible for Monitoring LSA & FFE, and thirdparty certificates for the fleet.
Responsible for Monitoring all managed vessel's activities including vessel utilization on monthly basis.
Review and appoint vessel Agents.
Prepare and manage the annual vessel budget for operating expenses.
Plan, review and adjust if/when required all aspects of the vessel OPEX and produce monthly vessel OPEX explanation on cost overruns for operations.
In charge of contractual (outsourced) catering requirements.
Attend Charterer's Operational, HAZID, Safety meetings as and when required.
Carry out Appraisals of Masters / Chief Officers
Carry out interview selection for selecting newly joining Master / Chief Officer
Ensure that all vessels are properly manned, and all relevant certificates are correctly completed.
Select, monitor and control all vessel Communications including all Satellite and other means and communicate with crewing department for deduction from portage bill.
Ensure that all on/off hire services are attended to properly with third party as and when required.
Be the Focal Point for the Management of Vessel OVID and shall be responsible for the following:
Monitor that Navigation Audits onboard at a frequency of not exceeding 12 months.
Attend, evidencing closeout including coordination with other departments.
Coaching of subordinates in line with development of individuals.
Constant review and suggest initiatives in improving the operational procedures and processes.
