Job Description Applications are invited fora Research Assistant (RA) position at the Department of MechanicalEngineering with the College of Engineering at UAE University.
The RA willwork to mathematically model and simulate wax buildup in oil andgas pipelines as well as design, create and buildup of a testingflow loop, and the detection tool.
RA should be comfortablecarrying experimental studies individually. Additional jobresponsibilities will include administrative duties as well asmaintenance of the lab as deemed necessary by the supervisor. TheRA appointment will be for 2 years. Highly motivated candidateswith academic background in engineering (chemical/mechanicalengineering) or related fields are invited to apply for thisposition. The minimum educational qualification isbachelor's while preference will be given to candidateswith master's degree. The candidate should be willing tospend significant time working on a computer or in the lab. Thepackage includes a monthly allowance in the range of AED 5,000 -6,000 depending on the educational qualification andexperience.
