Perform patient exams and order or conduct diagnostic testing. Develop ongoing treatment and disease-management plans. Prescribe medicine and coordinate referrals as necessary.
Job Responsibilities
Consults with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
Performs tests when needed to check the health of patients' hearts and/or cardiovascular systems.
Using medical imaging equipment to diagnose and treat heart and/or cardiovascular conditions.
Prescribing medication to treat heart and/or cardiovascular disease.
Providing support and advice to patients receiving long-term care.
Training and providing educational support to junior staff, when necessary.
Job Requirements
MBBS or MBchB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution AND Completion of specialty qualification recognized by Dubai Health Authority or Health Authority of Abu Dhabi or Ministry of Health UAE.Appropriate experience and competence in all aspects of Cardiology.
Certification in Basic and Advanced Life Support.
Minimum 5+ years relevant experience at a specialist level, since gaining higher qualification.
