As a front desk office receptionist, your responsibilities typically include:

Greeting and welcoming visitors:

You will be the first point of contact for guests and clients, so it's important to create a positive and friendly impression.


Answering phone calls:
You will handle incoming calls, take messages, and direct them to the appropriate person or department. Clear and effective communication skills are essential for this task.


Managing appointments:
You may be responsible for scheduling and rescheduling appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings. You'll need to keep track of the availability of rooms and personnel.


Assisting with inquiries:
Visitors and callers will have questions or requests that you need to address promptly and accurately. This could include providing information about the organization, its services, or directing inquiries to the appropriate individuals.


Maintaining the reception area:
Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and presentable is essential. You may be responsible for managing office supplies, such as pens, brochures, and other materials.


Sorting and distributing mail:

Incoming mail and packages will be received at the front desk, and you will need to sort and distribute them to the appropriate recipients within the organization.


Managing security:
Monitoring visitor access and issuing visitor badges are important security measures.

You may also need to assist with ensuring the security of the building, such as monitoring surveillance cameras or coordinating with security personnel.


Performing administrative tasks:
This could include data entry, filing documents, maintaining records, and assisting with basic administrative duties as needed.


Providing general support:

You may be called upon to assist other departments with various tasks, such as coordinating travel arrangements, making reservations, or providing administrative support.


Problem-solving and handling emergencies: In some cases, you may need to handle unexpected situations or emergencies, such as assisting with first aid or contacting appropriate personnel when necessary.


Salary:
From AED2,000.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Al Barsha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
