JOB SUMMARY


The key contributor to the deliverables of commercial business partnering team, as well as the reporting models in key business performance analysis and projects that are assigned to the area, including but not limited to, data analytics, and other internal projects.

The junior Commercial Finance Analyst will also be responsible to assist line manager, the entire reporting structure across verticals.

The role will develop visibility reports and monitor, database management for customers and product, along with analysis on product portfolio, pricing strategy among others.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support on the analysis of company's current portfolio and provide insights on potential gaps within the market using primary or secondary research.
  • Providing business partner support to operations, finance, and sales team, influencing behaviors and performance through insights, and understanding of key drivers and trends.
  • Assist in improving sales support administration process on Proposal and Contract Management, advising on contract governance, framework etc.
  • Continually increase the departments profile across the business. The role is fundamental to the delivery of a commercial financial management framework for the business and should seek to increase awareness of the work of the department and what it can offer and what it expects from its internal stakeholders.
  • Review, analyze and explain variances vs. budget and forecast as part of the monthend close working closely with the Outsource provider to resolve errors or to obtain greater understanding of the source data.
  • Develop engaging dashboards in Business Intelligence tool for management, by working closely with the operations team, management and IT

JOB DUTIES/ACTIVITIES

  • Assisting Analyst with preparing weekly & monthly reporting, KPI's and analysis for, primarily focused on Region/Market revenues, month end reporting & sales traction, project profitability.
  • Analysis of sales/customer lifecycle volume, price mix vs forecast identifying issues, recommending actions, measuring outcomes.
  • Preparing insightful reporting and analysis to support management decision making and identify significant trends/issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of business presentation materials where required and support Line Manager
  • Monitors cost development of planned objectives and prepares deviation analysis.
  • Support line manager on maintaining and updating the data platforms introduced while assisting in creating and sharing reports for the business.
  • Prepares periodic or ad hoc business performance reports for the operations and leadership team with recommendations to support decisionmaking.
  • Supports in daytoday administrative tasks as & when required.

OVERVIEW OF KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) FOR POSITION

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Min. bachelor's University Degree in Business or Economics
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point skills

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant work experience including of analytic responsibilities and engagement with nonfinance stakeholders in the business
  • Minimum 23 years of Experience in Advance Excel Skills (Pivot Table, Macros etc)
  • Successful experience in assisting the preparation of financial reports, building, and utilizing financial and operational decisionmaking models, trend analysis and forecasting.
  • Ability to convey technical information to a nontechnical audience.

Salary:
AED5, AED8,000.00 per month
