Our M&A and Transactions Advisory delivery model includes the entire transaction lifecycle enabling engagement opportunities throughout the lifetime of a deal.
It includes originating and providing corporate finance advice as a lead financial advisor on M&A transactions providing valuations services on a range of transactional matters due diligence advice to help our clients identify risks associated with deals and offer solutions that can help to mitigate such risks SPA advisory to make sure clients financial interests are safeguarded in the agreement act as an independent financial adviser on IPOs as well as on a range of other corporate transactions including financial modelling fundraising and debt advisory/restructuring.
The role:
Plan organize and draft valuations reports information memoranda as well as build and review financial models as well working on financial due diligence assignments where support is required.
Supervise train and mentor associates and interns on assignments.
Have knowledge and handson practical experience of business valuations for tangible and intangible assets. Experience of purchase price allocations and valuing complex financial instruments would be a plus but not a prerequisite.
Work closely with partners directors and team members on client management practice development and business development initiatives.
Assist with research marketing and execution of corporate finance engagements.
Conduct market studies and help prepare marketing collateral for M&A debt and equity fundraising processes.
Competencies:
Enthusiasm to further develop and learn corporate finance principles techniques and methodologies covering valuations financial due diligence business modelling M&A debt advisory etc.
Should be proactive with staff and clients and be able to work under pressure to meet client expectations and deadlines.
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English (Arabic will be a plus but not a prerequisite).
Ability to thrive in a multicultural environment.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft office applications including Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent analytical numeracy and problem solving skills.
Identify and discuss issues with the team leader on a timely basis.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
3 years experience within corporate finance / transaction advisory practice/ investment banking
Bachelors/Masters degree from a reputable university
