    Post-Doctoral Associate in the Division of Science Biology Post-Doctoral Associate in the Division of Science BiologyOur research at the Marine Microbiomics Lab focuses on studying microbial interactions between diatoms and their microbiome using a variety of omics techniques.

    Experience in growing phytoplankton and/or bacteria is mandatory. Experience in bioinformatics and next-generation sequencing data analysis is highly desired. Excellent communication skills in English, ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams and scientific creativity are essential.

    Researchers at NYUAD have access to state-of-the-art facilities that include NovaSeq, MiSeq Illumina and ion torrent sequencing platforms, a high-computing cluster, strong metabolomics support and cutting-edge microscopy facilities (NYUAD Core Instruments).The terms of employment are competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children.
