Job Description:


  • Report to work on schedule time, wearing the proper uniform and name badge
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Be aware of all hotel services and promotions in order to assist any guests
  • Keep an uptodate knowledge of the menus, beverage list, wine list and Refreshment Centre menus
  • Conduct daily lineups with colleagues to keep them up dated with all relevant information
  • Ensure that standards are maintained and all documentation pertaining to standards are utilized (i.e. F&B Basics, Process Briefs, JTCs, etc ) each shift
  • Check presence of staff and physical appearance
  • Supervises and assists in service for VIPs/ SA etc
  • Check outgoing orders for accurate set ups
  • Oversee equipment breakdown and linen sorting
  • Ensure communication with incoming shift
  • Handle guest requests and complaints
  • Maintain communication between Outlet and all relevant departments
  • Maintain good working relationships with all colleagues and leaders in outlet and relevant departments
  • Check tray and table set ups to ensure departmental standards are always maintained
  • Responsible of cleanliness and maintenance of all equipment (including menus)
  • Cover the shift operation along with supervisors and in doing so, ensure the following
  • Check outgoing orders for accurate set ups
  • Support order delivers if necessary
  • Support order taking process if necessary
  • Conduct any other duties or tasks assigned by Manager, Assistant F&B Director or F&B Director

Qualifications:


  • Experience in Food &Beverage management in a luxury property preferred.
  • International experience an asset
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • English fluency is a must.
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
