    Description

    Job Title: Paralegal - APAC Region

    We are seeking an experienced paralegal to join our in-house Legal team, reporting to the Chief Legal Counsel, APAC region. Based in either Malaysia or other APAC markets, you will work closely with various business units and corporate functions of the company, as well as regional specialists.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare contracts using company-approved template contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
    • Maintain a firm understanding of the company's policies, forms, and contract procedures to provide support to client service associates and ensure compliance.
    • Oversee the operation of automated external facing portals for highly standardized contracts, such as Non-Disclosure Agreements.
    • Review third-party changes proposed to our template contracts and other documents, liaising with lawyers as required.
    • Project manage the process of rolling out new or updated template contracts, including translations and liaison with key legal and business stakeholders.
    • Refresh and maintain databases, performing general paralegal and contract admin/management tasks.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Law or relevant professional studies relating to legal contract review and administration.
    • Prior experience in contract administration, preferably in a multinational corporation (MNC) or law firm.
    • Strong written and verbal communications skills in English, with additional languages a plus, especially those relevant to the Asia region.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft and Google Applications, as well as managing legal databases.
    • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, being highly organized, accurate, and meticulous.

    The in-house Legal team comprises attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants, working together to provide effective legal support to the organization.
