• Provides leadership and directionthrough senior managers in welding engineering, operations andsubject matter experts
• Is accountable for theproduction performance of offshore pipeline projectsglobally
• Measures and continuously improves theeffectiveness of pipeline production operations and processes,maintaining and monitoring key performanceindicators
• Implements pipeline productionstrategy and action across theorganization
• Responsible for operationalproduction targets and performance and ensuring that the productionstrategy is effectively communicated and implemented on allprojects
• Maintains adequate levels of competentpersonnel with the department and mentors staff for successionplanning
• Develops and promotes a culture inline with the company's values through the functionalgroup
• Communicates and maintains relationshipswith key suppliers and vendors for welding, NDT and field jointcoatings
• Maintains an understanding ofcompetition and innovation in the industry to monitor upcomingchanges
• Other duties related to pipelineproduction, as directed by Senior Director - PPG
  

Qualifications

EssentialQualifications and Education:

• Degree in Engineering preferable– Experience in lieu isacceptable
• Over 8 years within the offshoreconstruction industry primarily within pipeline productionroles
• Significant experience in rigid pipelineproduction
• Understanding of the CommercialBidding process for Rigid PipelineFabrication
• Experience of engaging withmulti-functional / disciplineteams
