Heavy Machinery Viqa is operating in Trading of Machines, Heavy Equipment and Recycling Solutions. We provide operation and maintenance services for recycling plants as per client's requirements. HMV is a service provider for Mining, Quarries, and Recycling. We provide quality Machinery and Equipment as well as outstanding service to our clients.

The Site Manager is responsible for the day to day safe and efficient material production on site, including but not limited to all processing lines.

It requires the job holder to co-ordinate resources and liaise with internal key stakeholders to ensure highest asset overall effectiveness without compromising the Viqa quality standards and HSE requirements.

Site Manager Duties and Responsibilities:

Examining the materials produced to ensure that a high quality of product is maintained;
Closely monitoring all areas in the site to ensure that segregation and processing work is carried out to the highest standard;
Assessing equipment and production materials levels; undertaking regular site inspections and risk assessments in order to comply with all health and safety regulations;
Checking that all vehicles and plant equipment on site are maintained to a good standard.
Liaising with staff on site and dealing with any technical or staffing challenges that arise;
Balancing sales and production output;
Ensuring that key government health and safety legislation is implemented throughout the site;
Adjusting the production system in accordance with the materials required;
Liaising with sales and commercial teams;
Maintaining uptodate records and dealing with a range of paperwork;
Keeping up to date with relevant government legislation and industry developments;
Developing inspection systems and checklists; for safety, maintenance and operations
Checking that the production levels are maintained safely to schedule;
Writing development proposals and reports;
Managing and recruiting staff.
Performance managing the production process and setting and monitoring targets;
Accounting for inventory levels, maintaining equipment inventories and ordering supplies
Providing the owner company with information and statistics on the site's performance;
Developing links with local groups and organization;
Managing and regulating the production budget;

Site Manager Requirements / Skills / Qualifications
Minimum 5 years working with crushing and screening equipment

A strong level of technical understanding of C&D waste crushing environment, segregation systems and waste management

Excellent communication and influencing skills

Ability to think strategically and to problem solve

Capacity to make quick decisions and to think on your feet

Commercial awareness

Good IT skills

Knowledge of health and safety issues and how they relate to practical working environments

Flexible approach to work

Strong customer service skills

Good business and management skills

Project-management skills

Leadership qualities and team building skills
