Description

• Set up and operate 3axis CNC milling machines and lathe machines to fabricate components from various materials, including metals, plastics, and composites.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements and tolerances.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding devices for each machining operation.
• Program CNC machines using Gcode or CAM software to execute machining sequences accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks, such as tool changes, lubrication, and machine calibration, to optimize machine performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues, such as tool wear, dimensional inaccuracies, and surface finish defects.
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
• Document production activities, including machining parameters, tool usage, and inspection results, for quality control and traceability purposes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in machining is preferred.
• Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with a minimum of 3 years of handson experience in operating 3axis CNC milling machines and lathe machines.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
• Strong knowledge of CNC programming and machining techniques, including tool selection, feeds and speeds, and machining strategies.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam) for generating toolpaths and CNC programs is a plus.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues effectively.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and machining processes as required.
