Understanding theClient's head contract requirements including Woodresponsibilities and knowledge of how these are integrated intoproject supply chain strategies, procedures, and Terms &Conditions. Familiar with basic commercial conditions of Purchase,works together with seniors in hierarchy of reporting line to reacha robust commercial agreement onpurchases.

Receives progress reports fromsuppliers, conducts meetings and updates progress report to reflectthe latest updates accurately. Raises slippage alerts, escalatescritical issues, and works towards a mitigation plan in discussionwith the Procurement Lead /PPM.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for the successfuldelivery of all the assigned supply chain activities they areresponsible for.
• Responsible for the end-to-endsourcing process (implementation of strategy through closeout ofpurchase orders) for the procurement packagesassigned.
• Responsible for Pre-Order activitiessuch as Supplier prequalification and evaluation, assist inpreparation of Project approved Suppliers Register, prepareProcurement plan, Issuing RFQ's, Receipt of Bids,Evaluation of bids, Commercial Bid Evaluation report, Prepare andissue Recommendation for Award for approval, prepare and issuePurchase Order.
• Responsible for coordinationand expediting of all activities for delivery of Goods and servicesin accordance with the Purchase Order. Proactively engages withSuppliers and inter discipline project team to ensure timelysubmission and approval of documentation without affecting modelreview and Suppliers manufacturing/fabrication schedule. TrackingSupplier raw material procurement status, Coordination ofinspection activities, obtain progress reports periodically andreview Supplier progress on the order. Escalate concerns / issueslippage alert as appropriate. Consult with SCM Lead / PPM andagree on mitigation plans where necessary. Coordination of finalinspection and Inspection Release. Coordinate shipping andlogistics activities for timely delivery of material at therequired delivery destination.
• Manages changesby way of order amendment.
• Ensures all supplychain activities are carried out in accordance with the projectexecution plan / schedule and/or contracting strategy, within theapproved budgets and in line with the project processes andprocedures.
• Update the project Procurementstatus report in line with the project procurement required on sitedates and current / estimated lead times, notifying any delay tothe supply chain lead.
• Attend regular PSRmeetings with Client, Engineering, and/or project managementpersonnel to ensure dates for the pre order deliverables withintheir portfolio are beingmaintained.
