Job Description:

Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Supervisor in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the housekeeping staff to ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and compliance with established standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, cleaners, and laundry workers.
  • Assign duties, inspect work, and provide guidance and feedback to ensure highquality service delivery.
  • Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and company policies.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock of cleaning materials and amenities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and backofhouse areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate departments for timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records of room occupancy, housekeeping schedules, and staff attendance.
  • Handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluations of housekeeping staff.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Develop and implement procedures and policies to improve efficiency and productivity within the housekeeping department.
  • Uphold the companys standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, with at least 12 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
