- Inspect, design, calibrate, repairand maintain electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic instrumentationand control devices, including various types of flow, pressure,temperature and level instruments.
- Coordinateand maintain a preventative maintenance schedule according tostandards specified by the manufacturer of theinstruments.
- Repair control panels and otherrelated fixtures as required as well as interpret blueprints,diagrams and schematics.
- Evaluate newinstruments for future applications.
- Writetechnical memo's, work packages and detailed reports forcomponents, systems and manufacturingprocesses.
- Ensure the safety of test articles,equipment, engines and other unrelated equipment as well as toensure the safety of personnel, working in and around the testarticles.
- Undertake design and support workthroughout the life-cycle of the system under development, for allphases of conceptual design, preliminary design, detail design anddevelopment, manufacture, production, end-use support andphase-out/disposal
- Perform precise calculationsusing theoretical methods as well as computationalsimulations
