    Description
    • Drafting procurement policies,procedures and processes.
    • Implementingstrategies aligned with the company's goals andobjectives. This involves identifying cost-saving opportunities,optimizing the supply chain, and ensuring the procurement functionsupports the overall business strategy.
    • Buildand maintain relationships with the suppliers to ensure theorganization has a reliable and high-quality supply of goods andservices. This includes supplier selection, negotiation ofcontracts and terms, performance evaluation, and managing anyissues or disputes that may arise.
    • Oversee thecreation, review, and management of contracts with suppliers. Thisinvolves ensuring contracts are legally sound, negotiatingfavourable terms and conditions, monitoring contract compliance,and managing contract renewals andterminations.
    • Digitization and automation ofthe procurement process by implementing appropriate procurementsystems and technologies.
    • Identify cost-savingopportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurementcosts without compromising quality or service. This includes priceanalysis, negotiating competitive pricing, implementingcost-control measures, and monitoring budgetadherence.
    • Assess and mitigate risks associatedwith procurement activities. This includes ensuring suppliercompliance with ethical and legal standards and developingcontingency plans for supplydisruptions.
    • Collaborate with Internalstakeholders, such as BU Heads, Department Heads, Project managers,to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance andsupport.
    • Setting up a Service Level Agreement(SLA) with suppliers. Identify the specific performance metricsthat will be used to measure the supplier'sperformance.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    To be considered for thisposition, candidates must meet the followingcriteria:

    • Bachelor's degree inbusiness administration, supply chain management, or any relatedfield. A Master's degree is aplus.
    • 10+ years of experience in procurementspecifically in trading, marketing, IT and Fitout.
    • Excellent negotiation and contractmanagement skills.
    • Strong knowledge ofprocurement processes, best practices, and industrytrends.
    • Proven track record of successfullymanaging procurement activities and delivering costsavings.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solvingabilities.
    • Proficiency in using procurementsoftware and tools.
    • High emotionalintelligence, good convincing skills
    • Goodleadership and management skills
    • Fluent inEnglish & Arabiclanguages.
