    Job Description


    KEY DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Develop highqualityengaging content mainly for reels and video.
    • Ensure our brand shines through in every piece ofcontent.
    • Develop captivating narratives thatresonate with our audience.
    • Keep up withindustry trends and integrate them into our contentstrategies.
    • Excellent command design softwarespecifically Adobe Photoshop CC Adobe Illustrator CC Adobe InDesignCC.
    • Average to Developing skills inHTML/Dreamweaver and Premier Pro Video Editing software.
    • Ensure that you fully understand the business strategyand positioning of the NH Collection brand and the individualproperties you represent and that you are able to effectivelytranslate this positioning in all graphic design and creativeapplications.
    • Maintain a personal uptodateknowledge on all NH Collection product and service offerings andthe products services rates and new developments of key competitorsand an awareness of general industry trends.
    • Advertising responsible for developing the creative under theguidance of MarCom and then resizing and meeting deadlines on theapproved advertising plan direct with the publication and/or mediabuying agency.
    • Track work through an excelspreadsheet recording key information from the brief such asproperty job description date requested date completed andapproximate time spent on the project. This is to measureproductivity.
    • Ensuring the Standard OperatingProcedure is enforced and followed with regard to graphic design.Meaning full information is required from requesting departments sowe do not waste valuable time and resources for poorly constructedor thought through briefs.
    • Assist the AreaMarketing team in all marketing projects and support the Directorof Marketing & Communications on any additional graphicdesign projects that may require your expertise.
    • Maintain and continually improve the hotel image libraryof photography DVD video and other electronic media throughcreative input recommendations on areas of weakness or gaps andcreative suggestions.
    • Provide photographyassistance for on property promotions staff events and socialpictures of guest events.
    • Maintain acatalogued library of stock photography purchased with a referencesheet of the stock photography provider and reference number. Wherespecific terms of use are outlined these must becaptured.
    • Maintain the printer database andthe translation company database and update it quarterly. Ensurethe shortcomings of printers are captured in the database forexample good quality but slow delivery; fast turnaround times butpoor cutting; not good for complex jobs etc.
    • Proactively work on social media including but not limited toFacebook LinkedIn and Instagram. Especially playing a role inposting quality imagery.
    • Offer design supportin the preparation of email campaigns and digital executions suchas web banners and resizing images for social media use.
    • Coordination of translations.
    • Coordination with the procurement division for the delivery ofprinted items.
    • Provide quality control of allproduced marketing items. Retain a sample of every creativedeveloped.
    • Maintain all digital artwork filesin an orderly fashion for easy retrieval.
    • Back up your data monthly on an external hard drive. (or othermethod in future).
    • Achieve all personalperformance objectives working with department leadership to ensurethese objectives are met.
    • Take responsibilityfor your own professional development including photography videonew software and social media. Request and work directly with theDirector of Marketing & Communications on training needsand refreshers so adequate budgeting provision may bemade.
    • Practice effective cost control andadhere to internal procedures for approval of expenditure. Ensurewe follow a 3quote approach. Consider different ways of doingthings in order to save the company money without compromising onbrand positioning or luxury quality.
    • Activelyparticipate in key events as required to meet the targets of thehotel.
    • Liaise effectively with alloperational colleagues providing support and information to ensureaccurate delivery of our promise. In particular this includes theMarCom and F&B teams.
