Apt Resources is partnering with a reputable Shipbuilding Company to find a skilled Draftsman to join their team.

As a Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in creating accurate technical drawings and plans for shipbuilding and marine construction projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative and high-quality ships.


Responsibilities:


  • Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of ship designs and components
  • Ensure accuracy and precision in all drawings
  • Collaborate with engineers and architects to translate design concepts into technical drawings
  • Review and revise drawings based on feedback and requirements
  • Maintain and update drawing databases and libraries
  • Adhere to project timelines and meet deadlines
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Stay updated with the latest industry standards and technologies related to shipbuilding

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Draftsman in shipbuilding or a related industry
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, CADWorx, or other relevant software
  • Strong knowledge of shipbuilding principles and practices
  • Ability to interpret and translate design concepts into technical drawings
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with 3D modeling and visualization software is preferred
  • Knowledge of marine engineering and naval architecture is a plus
  • Degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field

Benefits:

Salaries between AED 8K to 12K all in plus UAE Labour Law benefits.
