    POSITIONSUMMARY
    Respond and attend to guest repairrequests. Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenanceissues. Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen andmechanical room equipment including cleaning and lubrication.
    Visually inspect tools equipment or machines. Carry equipment radio). Identify locate and operate all shutoff valves forequipment and all utility shutoffs for buildings. Maintainmaintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
    Communicate each days activities and problems that occur to theother shifts using approved communication programs and standards.

    Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in thefollowing categories:

    air conditioning and refrigeration electricalmechanical plumbing pneumatic/electronic systems and controlscarpentry and finish skills kitchen equipment vehicles energyconservation and/or general building.

    Perform all surfacepreparation painting minor drywall and wood trim repair light bulband A/C filter replacement and the complete and thorough cleanup ofthe painting or repair area.

    Test troubleshoot and perform basicrepair on all types of equipment plumbing (e.g. plunge toilets andunclog drains) electrical components including lamps cosmetic itemsextension cords vacuum cleaners internet devices replace electricalswitches and outlets and other guestroom items. Program TVs andperform general housekeeping and engineeringrelated inventoryduties. Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing anymaintenance work. Perform repairs on interior and exteriorlandscaping as well as external landscaping sprinklers. Displaybasic computer skills including inputting air handler schedules andmaking temperature changes.

    Follow all company and safety andsecurity policies and procedures; report any maintenance problemssafety hazards accidents or injuries; complete safety training andcertifications; and properly store flammable materials.

    Ensureuniform and personal appearance are clean and professional maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information and protect companyassets.

    Adhere to quality expectations and standards.

    Move lift carry push pull and place objectsweighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance andheavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.

    Move up and downstairs service ramps and/or ladders. Reach overhead and below theknees including bending twisting pulling and stooping. Enter andlocate workrelated information using computers.
