We're looking for a Catering Coordinator to help us plan and execute amazing events You'll be responsible for working with our clients to understand their catering needs, then developing a plan to make their event a success.
Catering Coordinator Duties:
- Provide daily catering service including set up and breakdown, food & beverage preparation, and catering events
- Plan, coordinate, and execute catering events for conferences, meetings, and events
- Manage catering inventory, ordering food, and obtaining food vendor's bids
- Manage catering staff to ensure catering special events are completed on time and within budget
- Assist other team members with planning catering events
Responsibilities:
- Help effectively manage catering budgets, including analyzing sales trends, ordering inventory, tracking expenses, and determining appropriate pricing
- Work closely with the chef and catering manager to coordinate all catering orders, including menu development, ordering, and billing
- Provide clear communication to event coordinators, caterers, and clients regarding production status, menu changes, and special requests
- Order office supplies, maintain inventory, and clean the office
- Work with vendors and suppliers to source products, negotiate pricing, and monitor deliveries
Requirements And Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent;
- 2+ years' relevant experience in a catering or hospitality setting
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
AED3, AED4,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
