Objectives of this role

  • Deliver materials to designated locations in a timely fashion.
  • Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and operational vehicle.
  • Represent the company positively and professionally in interactions with customers and the stakeholders.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the local area and the most efficient routes.

Responsibilities

  • Daily teams dropping and picking as per the project or site schedules
  • Dropping and picking employees as per HR team requests (Medical, Tawjeeh, biometrics for EID)
  • Document collection, submission, check submission, guarantee bond collections, etc. as per the Finance department requests
  • Tender submission, document collection and submission as per the sales team requests
  • Team members food delivery as per the project site schedules
  • Requests for guest picking, dropping and accompanying with them to different locations
  • Warehouse materials delivery to different location as per the project requirement
  • Help with loading and unloading vehicles
  • Complete pre
- and post-trip safety and operations checklists and documentation

  • Use navigational technology to find and follow optimal routes
  • Assist with regular vehicle inspections, arranging maintenance when necessary
  • Refuel vehicles and ensure they're always ready for use

Required skills and qualifications.

  • Valid driver's license
  • Clean driving record for at least one year
  • Ability to drive for extended periods.
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Excellent navigational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience driving in a professional capacity.
  • Experience using GPS technology.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Familiarity with the local area

License/Certification:

  • Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
