We are actively searching for a passionate and forward-thinking Carbon Trader to join our dynamic team. This role plays a pivotal part in our mission to combat climate change and provides a unique opportunity to have a substantial influence on global sustainability. As a Carbon Trader at Greenipath AG, you will assume a critical role in the purchase and sale of environmental certificates, analyze market trends, and cultivate client relationships, encompassing both end buyers and project owners/developers.

• Carbon Credit Trading: Identify, manage and execute carbon trading opportunities and strategies.
• Client Engagement: Lead trade processes from initial discussions, pricing and negotiation to execution, tailoring solutions to meet client objectives.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the environmental certificates markets, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Innovative Solutions: Collaborate with our diverse team to develop for clients innovative solutions and strategies for carbon trading and sustainability.
• Solution Development: Work closely with the team to develop and structure emission reduction and removal portfolios tailored to client needs.
• Market Analysis: Stay at the forefront of industry trends, regulations, and market dynamics.
• Sector Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of decarbonization journeys and carbon offset behavior within relevant sectors.
• Market Representation: Represent Greenipath AG at strategic events and engage with key market stakeholders.

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in carbon trading. Good experience with back-to-back deals.
• Industry Knowledge: Background in business development, sales, and trading related to the environmental certificates markets.
• Negotiation Skills: Proficiency in negotiating OTC agreements for the transactions.
• Market Understanding: Strong understanding of price fundamentals/dynamics and key policies in the environmental certificates markets.
• Education: Academic or practical background in finance.
• Problem Solver: Goal-oriented with a knack for solving complex challenges.
• Multitasking: Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills for meeting deadlines across different time zones.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, including the capability to develop, present, and draw conclusions from data.
• Self-Motivated: Self-motivated and working independently.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and respond swiftly to requests.
• Team Player: Effective team player with cultural sensitivity for cross-border collaboration.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, with data handling abilities being advantageous.
• Remote Work: Willingness and ability to work remotely if not located in the specified location.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Entrepreneurial skills to initiate, manage, and grow successful business ventures.
• Commercial Acumen: Highly commercially oriented with sound business judgment.
