Principal Design Engineer Dry Utilities - Dubai

Job summary
Prepare dry utilities master plans from concept to detailed master plan stage, including HV and LV corridor planning, ROW definition, and multi-discipline coordination Develop master plan reports covering demand load calculations equipment sizing protection coordination tie-in requirements from concept to IFC Design electrical and ELV systems for STPs RO plants pumping stations and associated infrastructure including lighting small power earthing lightning protection telecom security fire alarm systems Prepare design reports specifications tender documents supporting documentation secure approvals through coordination with clients authorities subconsultants Review designs prepared by other consultants issue structured design review reports recommendations Perform value engineering studies prepare clear recommendation reports Respond to contractor RFIs review approve key technical submittals related to electrical works dry utilities Use Civil BIM tools Revit review clash analyses resolve coordination issues Independently develop supervise HV MV LV system designs large mega infrastructure projects defining scope budgets schedules reporting progress Liaise electricity authorities DEWA SEWA ADDC SEC FEWA Civil Defense obtain power supply master plan approvals load NOCs design approvals Act project discipline lead engineer assigned projects provide technical guidance CAD designers junior mid-level engineers Ideal Profile Bachelor s degree Electrical Engineering reputable institution Minimum years experience electrical design large-scale infrastructure projects Strong hands-on experience HV MV LV electrical local international standards Thorough knowledge NEC IEEE ANSI IESNA NFPA IEC GCC authority standards Experience analyzing requirements greenfield brownfield projects Proven ability lead mentor guide teams engineers
