OverviewTTLR Operator
Responsibilities
TTLR Operations:
Loading Tank Trucks for all products (e.g., DGO, ULG-95/98, Jet-A1, Asphalt). Responsible for required safety inspections and regulatory compliance of all trucks entering EIL Terminals. Execute and verify all documentation related to Tank Truck Loading. Ensure TTLR and Asphalt Unit Operations are performed safely as per EIL/HTL operating and safety procedures/work instructions.
Asphalt Unit Operations:
Operate the Asphalt Unit necessary to load Asphalt Tank Trucks. Follow Work Instructions concerning Asphalt tank truck operations.
Safety:
Assigned as fire-responder during emergencies and report according to the ERP. Maintain a high level of emergency preparedness and participate in mock drills as directed. Work as part of a team to promote a safety culture. Monitor site surveys to ensure the \"Permit to Work\" system is strictly enforced with EIL staff/contractors/maintenance works. Stop any unsafe work and report to the line manager.
IMS (Integrated Management System): Monitor operations and related documentation as mentioned in the IMS, follow up to close gaps with preparation and closure of incident reports as per line manager's guidance.
Assist line manager when conducting risk assessments and with corrective and preventive actions. Monitor and follow all related IMS programs. Maintain required quality records as per guidance.Equipment:
Inspect and report on the status of TTLR monitoring and control equipment (e.g., flow meters, loading units). Clean and replace filters & strainers; monitor the performance of pumps, heaters, etc.
General:
Provide timely feedback on consumables requirements (e.g., sample cans, fittings, tools) needed for day-to-day operation to maintain inventory.
Experience and Qualifications
Minimum Educational, Professional and Vocational qualifications: Diploma in Engineering or High School. Familiar with IMS procedures on Terminal/TTLR operations. Knowledge of Fire & Safety regulations applicable to Terminal operations. Working knowledge of computerized systems related to Terminal product movement operations, including Terminal Automation and Weighbridge. Effective communication skills. Preferable valid UAE light vehicle manual driving license.
Minimum years of relevant work experience: At least 2 years in Petrochemical Terminal/Oil Refinery and/or related industries.
Behavioural and functional competencies:
Technical reporting, recording and writing skills.
