Job Summary

  • Zurich Middle East is part of Zurich Insurance Group, one of the world's largest and most experienced insurers. Our mission is to help our local community understand and protect themselves from risk both locally and globally.
  • Reporting to the Head of Propositions & Pricing, the Insights Analyst will be responsible for creating an actionable insights framework as part of a successful proposition development cycle. This will involve implementing market and customer research initiatives in order to support the development and evaluation of business strategies and achievement of business aims.
  • This role will be a fixed term contract for 6 months in the Life Insurance field.
    Job Accountabilities
  • As an Insights Analyst, your role will involve:
  • Conducting research and analysis to identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development decisions.
  • Analyzing customer data to segment and profile customers, understand their needs and preferences, and recommend product enhancements that will meet their changing needs.
  • Developing a consumer and market insights framework that help teams create effective gotomarket strategies, messaging, and value propositions for new products and services.
  • Providing technical expertise in defining, collecting/extracting and synthesizing market and customer data to assist in decision making, opportunity identification, and evaluation of performance/potential.
  • Collaborating with teams across the wider business, as part of the proposition and pricing function, to develop, test and launch new products and services that meet customer needs and are financially viable.
  • Presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, to influence proposition and pricing strategy, business decisions, and customerfocused initiatives.
  • Contributing to crossfunctional projects that require your expertise in understanding customer behaviour and market dynamics.
  • Continuously monitoring and evaluating product performance against industry benchmarks and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending changes to optimize market share and profitability.
  • Ensuring governance and consistency of data, analysis and methodology through all market insight researches and activities.

Job Qualifications

  • To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, data science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a market or customer insights analyst, preferably in the life insurance industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering actionable insights that have influenced product strategy and business decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and statistical analysis software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience with survey research, customer segmentation, and data visualisation tools.
  • Knowledge of life insurance products, local life insurance market and distribution landscape.
