- Review and process payments, invoices, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follow up with clients on overdue payments and resolve any billing discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure all invoices are coded correctly and recorded accurately.
- Monitor and track incoming payments and update accounting systems accordingly.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Handle incoming phone calls and email inquiries from clients regarding billing and payments.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support during audits.
- Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.
- Proven experience as a Billing Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
