    Description
    As a Billing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to our finance department. The ideal candidate will have experience in billing and invoicing, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of basic accounting principles.

    Responsibilities

    • Review and process payments, invoices, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Follow up with clients on overdue payments and resolve any billing discrepancies.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and reports.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure all invoices are coded correctly and recorded accurately.
    • Monitor and track incoming payments and update accounting systems accordingly.
    • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
    • Handle incoming phone calls and email inquiries from clients regarding billing and payments.
    • Assist with month-end closing activities and provide support during audits.
    • Perform other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as a Billing Assistant or in a similar role.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Proficient in MS Office and accounting software.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
