Hiring:
Cost Estimator (with an Interior/Fit-Out Experience)

Main Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare BOQs and quotations.
Responsible for providing complete quantity takeoff, analysis, and estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of joinery, wooden and fit out works
Prepare tender submissions and take offs Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
Extensive knowledge of fit out & joinery procedure and processes.
Measure and calculate the cost of materials.
Should be able to handle both pre and post contract work, review the scope of works along with contract terms and conditions, and to prepare bill of materials/quantity take off/variations/invoicing, cost management etc.
Define more costefficient alternatives to the proposed scope of project.
Responsible for preparing and assembling bids and proposals for various contract types.
Collaborate with operations staff and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate.

Quality Control Requirements:

Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Proven experience in estimation and costing in a Joinery/Fit-Out Industry in UAE
Demonstrable experience as a construction estimator.
Knowledge of relevant technical and nontechnical documents.
Exceptional quantitative skills.
Outstanding research and proposal writing skills.
