Innovative Midwestengineering firm is hiring a Structural Engineer to join theirteam

Responsibilities:

• Plans,schedules, conducts and/or coordinates engineering work for a widerange of project types andmaterials
  
• Performconventional engineering duties as well as more complex tasks(conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventionalmaterials, difficult coordinationrequirements
  
• Preparestructural calculations and planlayouts
  
• Performconstruction administration tasks including completing RFI s,submittal review, and site observationvisits
  
• Comply withprojectschedules
  
• Monitorproject progress using input from ProjectManager
  
• Representfirm at externalmeetings
  
• Maysupervise/train juniorstaff
  

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in engineering from an ABET accreditedcurriculum
  
• 5+years ofexperience
  
• PELicense
  
• SELicensepreferred
  
• Proficientin AutoCAD/Revit
  
• Memberof professional organizationpreferred
