    Faculty Position in Electrical Engineering

    American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK)

    American University of Ras Al Khaimah (AURAK), Department of Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, invites applications for a full-timefaculty position beginning Fall 2024 (August). Candidates for this position must hold a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related major.

    Required Qualifications

    • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related major from an accredited, reputable, and internationally recognized institution of higher education. Areas of expertise include (but not limited to): Signal Processing, Machine Learning, Wireless Networks and IoT.
    • Strong record of active engagement in research and scholarship, including recent high-quality publications.
    • University teaching experience.
    • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
    • Commitment to excellence in teaching, including the use of high-impact educational practices.
    • Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with faculty from a variety of disciplines.
    • Familiarity with ABET accreditation requirements.
