    Description
    • Ensures all the residents receiveprompt and courteous service.
    • Informs SeniorButlers of matters concerning to butler operations, who in turn,will liaise with Head Butler with regards to thesematters.
    • Cleans and maintains all butler areasincluding occupied / non-occupied rooms, pantries, stores,equipments, perishables, stationary,etc.
    • Checks the expiry dates of all perishablesand practices optimum usage ofrecourses.
    • Liaises with In-room dining andchecks on a regular basis to ensure amenities, resident preferencesand other such points are taken care of and carried outflawlessly.
    • Maintains appearance, disciplineand efficiency at all times and understands that necessary actionwill be taken when found lacking in any of theabove.
    • Ensures that consumption of residentsupply is under control
    • Delivers the Rafflestouch by exceeding the resident's expectations andproviding pro active personalizedservice.
    • Practices up-selling of the hotelproducts and facilities.
    • Adhere to the corevalues and the Brand dimension of Raffles ThePalm
    • Ensure that repeat residents are met andgreeted regularly and the profiles areupdated.
    • Provide long staying residents /Special attention residents / occasion celebrating residents withgreater importance and take good care ofthem.
    • Ensures all communication is carriedclearly amongst the team / Senior Butler / Headbutler.
    • Takes regular inventories of all itemswithin the jurisdiction of butlers and informs the supervisor forany fresh stocks required.
    • Attends dailybriefing and notes all information about the residents andfunctions in the hotel
    • Creates an environmentwhich is congenial and ensures all team members are treated equallyand with respect.
    • Fully aware of Rafflesstandards.
    • Fully understands the difference ofguest levels (VIP)
    • Fully understands thedifference of room categories.
    • Performs relatedduties and special projects assigned.
    • Ensurethe upkeep of all resident rooms and reports any maintenance faults/ anything abnormal, to the supervisorimmediately.
    • Respects guest privacy and doesnot discuss any private information with othercolleagues.
    • Ensures all unattended valuablesand belongings inside resident rooms are noted and supervisor isinformed about the same.
