    Description

    Support and assist in the smooth running ofthe housekeeping department, where all aspects of the guest serviceexperience are delivered, ensuring both property and companycleanliness standards are attained and adheredto.

    Takes responsibility for the duties andtasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried outin a timely and professionalmanner.

    Collaborate with colleagues tomaximize guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive andresponsive approach to enquiries and problemresolution.

    Support and deliver on thestrategies and objectives of the housekeeping department takingownership for assigned areas ofresponsibility.

    Develops and builds ownskills, knowledge and experience at every opportunity within thehousekeeping department, which aligns with the culture of growth,development and performance expected by thecompany.

    Collaborates with the Head ofDepartment, Supervisors, ensuring that departmental inventory ismaintained, that productivity targets are achieved and performancelevels are attained.

    Build and maintaineffective working relationships, communicating with keystakeholders whilst promoting the company culture andvalues.

    Ensures adherence to all legislationwhere due diligence requirements and best practice activities areplanned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit,performing follow-up as required.

    ResponsibleBusiness: show involvement and be interested in environmentaland/or social issues by participating in Responsible Business hoteland departmental activities.

    Requirements ofthe Housekeeping Attendant:

    • Experience inhousekeeping
    • Ability to adapt to changingservice environments
    • Pro-active with a hands-onapproach
    • Passion for the hospitalityindustry
    • Ability to manage work ensuring thattasks assigned are delivered
    • Ability to findcreative solutions, offeringrecommendations
    • Personal integrity, with theability to work in an environment that demandsexcellence
    • Strong communication and listeningskills
