    Title: HR Director - Business Support

    Reporting to: SVP Human Resources

    Subordinates: 3 to 4

    Large F&B related business in Abu Dhabi are looking to bring a Human Resources Director of Business Support aboard the team who will be responsible for providing functional leadership and expertise to the business units on the companies HR strategies, policies, processes and procedures.

    Responsibilities:

    • Contribution to business unit strategy by supporting leadership to identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities.
    • Liaising with corporate core functions on issues in different areas of the business
    • Contribution to annual business review of organizational capabilities, performance (workforce planning & recruitment), talent review & succession, retention, training assessments, development of annual people plan.
    • Advice and assessment of business unit projects
    • Change management
    • design of new/review of existing SLA's across business functions
    • Lead the planning of the annual business unit people strategy
    • review and finalize annual manpower plan
    • review and finalize the annual people budget according to workforce plan and organizational capabilities objective
    • tailor people management initiatives to address business specific employee engagement & employee value proposition.
    • provide input on key people decisions and ensure risk is emitigated
    • lead implementation of annual workforce planning
    • monitor recruitment KPIS
    • annual performance reviews
    • Initiate TNA for respective business units and monitor implementation of learning plans
    • coach and advise business unit leadership on meeting and exceeding people objectives for their function
    • propose solutions for employee relations issues
    • regular reporting
    • provide Emiratization strategies to recruitment

    Mandatory requirements:

    • Bachelors degree minimum (Masters is preferred)
    • Arabic speaking mandatory
    • minimum of 12 years in HR
    • Both strategic and operational HR experience
    • Workforce planning, labour law and recruitment experience
