We are looking for an experiencedBarista who is ready to join our team at Bidaya Cafe:
a speciality coffee, healthy food & juice _café_.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, artisan and speciality beverages to patrons.
- Cater to customers' needs/preferences and make recommendations.
- Cleaning and sanitising work areas, utensils and equipment.
- Responds to patron enquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
- Performs opening and closing duties, as needed.
- Ensure that patrons are being attended to.
- Cleaning service and seating areas.
- Helps fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships.
- Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies.
- Receiving and processing customer payments
Requirements:
- Must have a polite and hospitable disposition.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, especially orally.
- Effective customer service skills.
- Possess flexibility and multitasking ability.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Willing to follow instructions and ask questions for clarification if needed.
- Strong knowledge of coffee and up sale skills.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Barista.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Salary:
AED2, AED2,700.00 per month
COVID-19 considerations:
All staff must wear a mask, all areas are sanitized regularily, all staff must be vaccinated - Health and safety standards are in line with regulatory requirements in UAE
