TheRole:

This role would assist theCommercial Finance Manager with the management accounting for theMEA Portfolio and improve business efficiency and commercialdecisionmaking by enhancing management information and financialforecasting. A key aspect of the role is to ensure that processesare followed to provide and maintain a strong financial managementand control environment.

JobPurpose:

• Assisting theCommercial Finance Manager with the management accounting for theMEA Portfolio
• Working with the CommercialFinance Manager to improve business efficiency and commercialdecision making by enhancing management information and financialforecasting.
• Ensuring that processes arefollowed to provide and maintain a strong financial management andcontrol environment
• To progress throughprofessional exams (CIMA / ACCA / CMA etc)

Key Accountabilities:

• Work with Finance teams to assist withpreparation of monthly management accounts and commercial accrualpostings.
• Keep Event trackers up to date withactual spend from FinanceForce on a regular basis.
• Work with the Commercial Finance Manager and thecommercial teams where required on the budgeting and forecastingprocess across the MEA portfolio.
• Coordinateregular budget / forecast review sessions with the commercialteams.
• Helping to calculate commission/bonuspayments in accordance with individual schemes forpayroll.
• Provide quality analysis asrequired.
• Ensuring that the DMG MEA Eventpolicies are communicated implemented and complied with and astrong financial control environment is maintained.
• Carry out any reasonable project work / ad hoc task asrequested.
• Attend training and development asrequired.

Technical andFunctional Experience:

• Graduate with a 2:1 minimum degree who wishes to trainfor a recognized accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CMAetc.)
• Interest in working in a commercialfinance role
• Confidence to develop andcultivate relationships with senior business leaders that leads toopen and collaborative communication
• Hands onapproach and willing to accept responsibility
• Project management and Advanced Excel skills
• Able to multitask and manage changing workloads andpriorities
• Able to adapt to changingcircumstances resetting priorities as necessary
