Job Description
A Senior Landscape Architect is responsible for designing and implementing landscape projects. They develop plans and designs for outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, and public areas. They analyze site conditions, collaborate with clients and stakeholders, and oversee the construction and maintenance of landscapes. They also ensure compliance with regulations and promote sustainable practices.
Responsibilities

• Develop landscape designs and plans based on client requirements and site conditions.
• Analyze site characteristics, such as soil composition, sun exposure, and drainage.
• Incorporate sustainable practices and principles in landscape designs.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project alignment.
• Oversee the construction and implementation of landscape projects.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines for projects.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and permits.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other professionals.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and quality.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior landscape architects.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Landscape Architecture or related field.
• Professional licensure or certification in Landscape Architecture.
• Proven experience in landscape design and project management.
• Strong understanding of plant materials, design principles, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
