Aldar Academies are seeking an Attendance Officer for Al Bateen Academy commencing immediately.


Al Bateen Academy is located in the center of the city of Abu Dhabi and is a hugely popular school based in a vibrant community.

The school is a high achieving British and IB World School (Years 7 to 13) easily exceeding IB Diploma global averages year on year and achieving outstanding I/GCSE results.

The school recently expanded into primary years, starting with FS2 to Year 3, and developed this year to include a full primary provision, FS2 to Year 6.

The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is an exciting addition and provides the community with an all through school experience from FS1 to Year 13 offering PYP, UK and IB Diploma options.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

Manage and constantly maintain the ESIS platform
Prepare ESIS attendance report and submit it to ADEK daily
Provide training for teachers on ADEK attendance updates and resolve errors in the system
Daily support for teachers on attendance issues
Prepare weekly reports for management review
Save students' sick leave certificates to DMS on Engage system.
Liaise with heads of Departments regarding students' attendance reports when required.
Deliver high quality customer service to parents and staff, representing the Academy in a professional manner.
Attend and participate in relevant meetings, workshops and trainings as required.
Have a strong knowledge of the key information about the Academy.
Undertake word processing and other IT based tasks e.g. database, excel, internet research.
First line of contact with HQ on Engage and Attendance reports
Assist with tasks assigned as and when required by the management team.
Perform other duties as requested by direct and dotted line reporting managers.
Provide general administrative support to all the admin team

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree Certificate.

Minimum Experience

At least 2 years of experience in an administrative role in the region.
Previous experience in the Education sector is preferable

Fluent English and Arabic communication skills, written and oral
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent office management skills
A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life
A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check
