    Description
    • Electrical design engineers usesoftware programs to design and perfect new electricalsystems.
    • Design prototypes, troubleshootpotential issues, make changes to fix any issues, and createspecifications and other details for thesesystems.
    • Responsible for documentingspecifications, schematics, and diagrams regarding theirprojects.
    • Produce reports addressing projectprogress and other details for managerialstaff.
    • Electrical design engineers use theirexpertise to assist in the production of electrical systems,helping to avoid problems and addressing any issues that mightarise in the manufacturing process, thus reducing downtime andensuring that the project adheres to time and budgetexpectations
    • Creating system models andsimulations
    • Producing necessary design reportsand documentation

    KNOWLEDGE &EXPERTISE:

    • Minimum 20years relevant experience in Electrical Design of LargeInfrastructure projects with minimum 8 years in similar SeniorElectrical Engineer position and or 5 years as Principal Engineerposition.
    • Recent e xperience of HV, MV& LV electrical design to local and internationalstandards.
    • Extensive experience and proficiencyin using E TAP, Amtech, and other software to perform AdvancedPower system analysis, fault current, load flow and stabilitystudies, Harmonics analysis for power networks andgrids.
    • Experience in using Cymcap software forCable derating calculations.
    • Must have thoroughknowledge of National Electrical Code, IEEE, ANSI, IESNA, NFPA andIEC and various local authority standards in the GCC like DEWA,ADDC, SEWA, FEWA, SEC, MEDC, Civil Defense,etc.
    • Preparing master plans from Concept stageto Detailed Master Plan stage in terms of HV, LV utility corridorspace proofing, defining ROW requirements, coordination with wetutilities, ICT, Telecom, roads, transportation, landscape andbuilding design teams
    • Develop Master planreport, derive demand load calculations, sizing major equipment andcircuits and selective protection coordination, tie in pointrequirements, Full understanding of dry utilities andinfrastructure projects from Concept to IFCstage
