Description

Currently working with a multinational company who is rapidly expanding and on the search for an experienced Event Manager.

You will be responsible for all event management aspects through the second-line personnel within the department; the role also manages the scope of tactical management of the event whilst reporting to the operation manager to recommend needed development.

Key Responsibilities:

_ Operations Tactical Management:
_

Contribute to strategic goal setting and provide input in review meetings.
Analyze the department tactically, setting goals and direction with the team.
Efficiently manage resources for optimal departmental performance.

_Operations Development:
_

Review operations efficiency metrics and conduct root cause analysis.
Recommend development initiatives and plan within the budget.
Follow up on operations development processes.

_Program Scheduling and Planning:
_

Negotiate programs plan placement with management.
Ensure resource availability and communicate plans to team members.
Facilitate planning processes for various programs.

_Programs Initiation:
_

Assign event coordinators and oversee venue sourcing.
Manage human resources planning and purchasing processes.
Coordinate with marketing for program designs and smooth processes.

_Program Management:
_

Oversee final IT operations setup and class seating.
Manage customer service for program initiation and followup.
Ensure a seamless wrapup of the event and IT operations.

Requirements:

BSc degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.
Previous experience in an Event Management or Project Management position is essential for this role.
8 to 11 years in Events/Operations, including 3 to 5 years in a managerial role. My client is looking for a leader
Previous experience supporting managing tech events or technology training events.
Strong experience using project management systems such as Monday, Salesforce etc
You must have deep knowledge of operations processes and the ability to conduct process redesign.
