We are seeking a highly organized andproactive Medical Procurement Officer to oversee all aspects ofprocurement related to medical supplies and equipment. Thesuccessful candidate will possess a keen attention to detail strongnegotiation skills and a thorough understanding of the healthcareindustrys procurement processes.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Develop andimplement procurement strategies to optimize costeffectiveness andquality of medical supplies andequipment.
• Source and evaluate suppliersnegotiate contracts and maintain vendorrelationships.
• Collaborate with medical staffto assess their needs and preferences ensuring timely procurementof essential items.
• Monitor inventory levelsforecast demand and coordinate with stakeholders to preventshortages or overstocking.
• Stay informed aboutadvancements in medical technology and industry trends to makeinformed procurement decisions.
• Ensurecompliance with regulatory requirements and internal policiesrelated to procurement activities.
• Maintainaccurate records of procurement transactions and expenses andgenerate reports asneeded.

Qualifications:

• Bachelorsdegree in business administration supply chain management or arelated field.
• Proven experience in procurementpreferably within the healthcaresector.
• Knowledge of medical terminologyequipment and supplies.
• Strong negotiationcommunication and relationshipbuildingskills.
• Proficiency in procurement software andMicrosoft Office Suite.
• Ability to multitaskprioritize workload and work effectively underpressure.
• Attention to detail and a commitmentto accuracy andcompliance.
