Description

Ensuring all events that Walidia takes part are run smoothly and efficiently and form a cohesive part of the global marketing strategy.

• Aimed at building maximum awareness and lead generation for the brand.
• Responsible for coordinating the messaging and advertising in promoting events, managing the monthly ad round, and all merchandising ordered.
• Source, build, and maintain partner marketing relationships with high profile luxury brands in fields such as automotive, fashion, private jet, jewelers, watches, wines, etc in order to generate crossmarketing activities and potential leads for Walidia.
• Liaise closely with colleagues globally to ensure a constant global brand message.
• Solid and demonstrable understanding of all aspects of marketing communications, especially in relation to events organization, project management, and branding.
• Operate effectively under pressure. As an experienced communicator and meticulous planner, the Director of Marketing Strategy will also be able to plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to ensure maximum exposure at events.
• Exceptional written and spoken English and will often need to write copy for the website and social media, as well as suggest new ideas for such content.
• Selfmotivated hard worker who is meticulous, has high standards, and an eye for detail.

Work with the Digital Marketing Strategist to ensure good content is created and promoted for the relevant event pages on the website and Landing Pages where needed.

• Plan (well in advance) and execute all social media posts and any advertising needed to target the right clientele to attend the events.

• Coordinate the production of brochures (both corporate and yacht focused) if needed and manage stock levels at all times.
• Appoint and oversee translators, copywriters, photographers, designers, printers, couriers, and mailing houses to ensure delivery and distribution on time and within budget.

Organize event photographers where needed and ensure that all event photography is meticulously organized, saved, and shared and relevant selections made.

• Excellent attention to detail and high standards
• Excellent communication skills in verbal and written English. A second language is a plus
• Adept at working both as a team and autonomously
• Good knowledge of SEO, PPC/AdWords, and digital and social media strategies (preferably for the luxury market)
• Commercially minded motivated by delivering results

• Good knowledge of social media and digital production/publishing/scheduling/analytics platforms as well as multimedia content creation platforms
• Good knowledge of Photoshop (or equivalent), Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with InDesign skills a bonus
• Delivering events on time and on budget
