- Prepare and maintain daily,monthly, and yearly financialtransactions
- Monitor and track accountsreceivable and payable
- Reconcile financialstatements and reports
- Balance funds and ensureaccuracy on all accounts
- Prepare invoices andstatements for customers, as well as accounts receivable/payabledocuments
- Maintain general and trial ledgersand other financial records
- Develop, implement,and maintain internal control procedures
- Issuechecks/payments and handle bank deposits
- Assistwith audits and providing information for taxreturns
- Assist with various other accountingduties, as needed
- Bachelor's degree inaccounting, finance or similar field
- 2 years ofbookkeeping experience
- In-depth knowledge ofaccounting regulations andprocedures
- Proficient in using bookkeepingsoftware (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, etc.)
- Excelproficiency
- Ability to prioritize tasks andmeet strict deadlines
- Organized,detail-oriented, and problem-solvingskills
