Performs the professional duties of a pediatric critical care doctorTo perform his duties on the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and provide support for very sick children across the hospital in-patient setting, namely the Emergency Department, Operating rooms and the Pediatric WardPerforms general or special examinations and other procedures covering the full scope of the field of pediatric critical care.

Orders laboratory examinations and x-rays, determines diagnosisPrescribes nursing and dietary care necessary, orders or applies such preventive measures as required, provides life-saving intervention relating to airway, breathing and circulatory support of the critically ill child


Job Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience in a pediatric critical care settingMedical DegreeHas a basic understanding of computingCertification by a relevant Board of Pediatrics or equivalentMust have be certified with Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
